Vighter Medical Group’s Director of Business Development, Jeremy Calvert, and Assistant Director for Sales and Marketing, Sean O’Laughlin,
recently attended the National Veteran Small Business conference in Detroit, MI. As one of 500 exhibitors set up in the Expo Hall, VMG advertised its global medical service and support capabilities in front of hundreds of conference attendees and visitors who passed by the booth.
More than 6,000 vets attended the event and were able to meet with decision makers from federal and non-federal businesses, increase business acumen through training and business requirement sessions, and network with other attendees. It is the largest nationwide conference of its kind, and focused on helping Veteran-owned businesses maximize opportunities in the federal marketplace. This year’s conference also included the VA for Vets Hiring Fair through which many government contractors recruited former military service members. Vighter Medical Group’s CEO Dr. Jeffrey A. Lee commented “This exposure and close interaction with decision makers is highly beneficial to our company, but to see such emphasis placed on supporting veteran owned businesses was remarkable”.
