Vighter Recognized at the Vet50 Event

Vighter placed 38th on the VET50 list of the 50 fastest growing veteran companies as reported by Inc 5000 magazine

Austin, TX, February 17, 2018 – Vighter attended the Vet50 Awards Ceremony this weekend during the first-ever IVMF Veteran EDGE national conference in Austin, TX. The company was recognized by Vet50 for being the 38th ranked fastest growing veteran-owned business. Dr. Jeff Lee, Vighter’s founder and veteran of the US Army, remarked “We are honored to be recognized, not only for our success in the business world, but for our service to this country”.

Inc. magazine, in partnership with the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University (IVMF), created the Vet50 list of the nation’s fastest growing veteran-owned businesses. The list is built from the Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine’s prestigious list of the fastest-growing private companies based in the U.S. which has become a hallmark of entrepreneurial success.

The dinner, sponsored by First Data, featured keynote speaker NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, Captain (USN Retired), and guest speaker Medal of Honor recipient Jack Jacobs, Colonel (US Army Retired). “Veteran business owners bring unconventional leadership and grit to succeed. They have a history of entrepreneurship that goes back decades. This list will not only inform but it will inspire other entrepreneurs – veteran and civilian,” said Vice Chancellor of Strategic Initiatives and Innovation and IVMF Founder, Executive Director Mike Haynie.
